Although I have never been featured on TMZ.com or made a sex tape (sigh), I have been working as an actress in LA since 1994.

After graduating from college in Washington, D.C., my roommate and I loaded up the car and drove for more than 6 weeks on a cross country joy ride full of adventures! We eventually ended up here in Los Angeles - at the beautiful Radisson Hotel in Korea town (great sushi restaurant, btw!). Less than 48 hours after arriving in LA (much to the chagrin of my very concerned parents) I was the proud owner of a 1 year lease on an apartment near UCLA.

A few months later I took a six week "Acting for Commercials" course at Tepper Gallegos Casting. At TGC I was introduced Steve Simon, who with two other former William Morris agents, were starting their own shop. ACME Talent on Beverly Boulevard had just opened its doors when Steve signed me up across the board - film, television; the works!

Fortunately for me, Steve had the foresight to share me with Arlene Thornton's voice over agency. It was a great way to be introduced to the voice over business and Arlene has been my agent and has kept me working regularly ever since! I immediately began to get out on auditions from Steve, mostly for commercials, and then slowly for some TV.

Although I had some great acting professors at Georgetown like Don Murphy and Prof. Lambert, being in LA made me realize that, as an actor, I was still pretty green. Through some hard work (and a little luck here and there) I was able to book a few commercials and Steve even got me a small part on General Hospital which was all great experience. However, it wasn't until I found Joanne Barron and DW Brown's studio that I understood a method to have in my back pocket when it comes to performance.

DWB taught me to use the strength of my imagination and embrace my own vulnerabilities in order to bring a character to life from the inside out. They teach Meisner, and for someone like me it was a good fit. As proof, the first audition I had after graduation from the DWB program was for "Pleasantville" which has been one of the highlights of my career. Gary Ross was a great director for an actress in her first feature film. I learned a lot by watching and listening, and was very lucky to meet some wonderful, inspiring people on that job. Gary was very generous and invited me to come and work on the film during post production. It was there where I met Barbara Harris, without whom I would not be able to call my self a working actor today. She has cast me in hundreds of great jobs where I have been able to hone my improve skills with some really talented actors. Barbara even introduced me to Nancy Meyers who hired me for the most unique acting job I ever had... or ever heard of! After meeting with Nancy I was cast as the "inner voice" actress on "What Women Want."

Working on "WWW" was incredible! I was on the set for more than 70 days, and was invited to go with the production to work in Chicago. While working on WWW I met my husband. I now have 2 children and have been working exclusively on voice over since 2003. During this time I had the opportunity to star as "Clover" in the Cartoon Network's hit series "Totally Spies" (you may not have heard of this show, but if you have or know little kids, they probably have – it was the #1 cartoon for kids ages 6-11 for several seasons).

Fast forward to present day and I am hoping to get back into on camera, and am looking for new opportunities. I am represented by a manager and am always open to an agent as I haven't had a great agent since Steve Simon. Thanks for checking out my website, feel free to contact me.
